Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

I am Kiaan and I am 10 years old. I ave just taken part in the Hyde Park 5k in London to help raise funds for the flood victims in Pakistan.

Pakistan is currently experiencing extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding across the country.

The floods have left 50 million people, 15% of the country's total population, struggling to access to shelter, food, clothing, and medical aid.

Pakistan produces less than 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions but is one of the top 10 countries vulnerable to these effects of climate change.

Thousands of homes and buildings have been damaged. Hundreds of people including children have sadly lost their lives with many families being displaced. Many parts of Pakistan have become inaccessible and rescuers are struggling to evacuate thousands of stranded people from affected areas.

Medical Aid to Pakistan have launched an emergency appeal to help provide critical support to those suffering. The team is working tirelessly on the ground providing hygiene kits, food, shelter and medicine.
